BIG TICKET 10K

b)       The Competition is only open to UAE nationals as well as UAE residents with valid UAE residence visas.

c)       You must create an account with The Big Ticket LLC before claiming a prize.

d)       Directors, management, employees and contractors of the Organizer and/or the Promoter and those of any agencies, vendors, retailers, and suppliers directly associated with this Competition, including sponsors,  and the immediate family members (as defined below) of these people are ineligible to enter.

o    “Immediate family member” means spouse, parent, natural or adopted child, and sibling (whether natural or adopted by a parent), whether or not they live in the same household as the director, manager, employee, officer or contractor.

e)       To participate in the Competition, you must use your full name, as documented on your valid passport or Emirates ID.

f)        You must be contactable by the Promoter in order to claim your prize.  If the Promoter is unable to contact you, for any reason, you forfeit your prize.

g)       If you provide any incorrect, misleading, or fraudulent information (as determined by the Promoter and/or Organizer in our discretion) you would be ineligible to partake in the Competition and all of your entries would become invalid.

h)       You acknowledge that you may be required to sign a release form prior to claiming your prize.

i)         You consent for your photos, videos, or other material submitted as part of their entry to be

published, including later publication by the Promoter and/or Organizer for the purposes of the Competition.

j)         You must have a registered bank account in the UAE.

Week 1: 7th – 11th April 2025

a)       Registration commences at 6:00 AM GST (UAE time) on Monday, 7th April 2025.

b)       Registration concludes at 6:00 PM GST (UAE time) on Friday, 11th April 2025, or at such time as the final prize has been awarded.

Week 2: 14th – 18th April 2025

a)       Registration commences at 6:00 AM GST (UAE time) on Monday, 14th April 2025.

b)       Registration concludes at 6:00 PM GST (UAE time) on Friday, 18th April 2025, or at such time as the final prize has been awarded.

With Week 1 and Week 2, collectively, the “Contesting Period”.

Each of the Promoter and Organizer reserves the right to:

a)       Publish promotional material (including teasers) with respect to the Competition, prior to, during, and following the Competition.

b)       Amend the Contesting Period at its absolute discretion including to stop the Competition within the Contesting Period.

c)       Terminate the Competition, following any direction from a regulatory authority with standing.

a)       You must register for the Competition via SMS by typing: “BIG TICKET 10K <space> your name” and sending it to the designated radio station’s SMS number as such radio station announces on-air.

b)       The Competition will be conducted across all live shows on each participating station.

COMPETITION MECHANICS

a)       The on-air Competition draw takes place daily during the Morning Show during each live show hosting the Competition.

b)       The Radio Jockeys will randomly select two winners per day from the SMS entries.

c)       These daily winners will then be entered into the weekly mega draw.

d)       The weekly mega draw winner will be selected via a randomizer and announced live from The Big Ticket studios between 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM GST (UAE time) on April 11^th and April 18^th.

e)       The grand prize winner will receive AED 10,000.

b)       If you win the AED 10,000 prize during the Competition, you will be subject to a 30-day stand-down period, during which they will be ineligible to win (with respect to the Competition) again.

b)       Grand Prize: Each week, one lucky winner will receive AED 10,000.

c)       The participating station team will visit The Big Ticket office for a live announcement of the winners.

d)       Winner announcements will be broadcasted live across participating stations, Channel 4, Radio 4, and Gold FM.

e)       Prizes are non-transferable and non-refundable and all decisions on prizes taken by Promoter and/or the Organizer will be final.

b)       Winners must present a valid Emirates ID or Passport to claim their prize.

c)       Winners may also be required to provide any documentation which the Promoter and/or the Promoter’s insurer reasonably requests for the purposes of prize redemption.

d)       Winners will have their photos taken with their cheques as proof of receipt.

e)       These photos will be shared with the Organizer and winners consent to any images that may be posted on  The Big Ticket’s social media.

f)        Prior to acceptance of any prize, the Promoter and/or Organizer may require the winner to sign documents including a prize acceptance form, consent to broadcast (such as an image or footage release), liability or publicity waiver, or indemnity form. Any winner that fails to sign any required documentation as requested by the Promoter and/or Organizer may be disqualified from the Competition.

g)       Winners may be required to attend on-air, in-studio, or on location interviews and promotional shoots as a condition for receiving this prize.

h)       Unless otherwise specified the Promoter and/or Organizer, any prize(s) must be claimed within 30 days of their date that the winner is announced on. The Promoter will use all reasonable efforts to contact the winners to claim their prize within such 30 days period.

i)         Any unclaimed prizes will be forfeited.

j)         Where the prize is money: The prize will be transferred to the winner’s nominated bank account via electronic funds transfer. This may take up to 4 weeks (30 days) to show up in the winning contestant’s nominated bank account.

b)       Other than the prizes that Channel 4 Radio Network is taking care of, no other individual led expenses will be our responsibility.

c)       Entry to the competition is as per the process announced on air as agreed by the Promoter and the Organizer.

d)       The Promoter and Organizer may agree to changes in the Competition processes. Details of such changes will be announced on air and on the participating stations’ website(s).

e)       The Organizer  reserves the right to modify, cancel, or amend the competition at any time without prior notice.

f)        Contestants must be available to be contacted by telephone or be physically present at the station’s studio as and when required. If the chosen winner cannot be contacted or is disqualified, the Promoter reserves the right to declare a new winner.

g)       For the avoidance of doubt, if the Promoter calls the contestant, the Promoter offers no guarantee of how the phone call will display on their phone. A handset could display a number, it could show ‘unknown’ or display in any other way.

h)       Subject to any other terms set out in these T&Cs, the prize winners will be as per the Competition processes and the decisions made by the Promoter are final in every situation.

i)         By participating in the Competition, winners grant each of the Organizer and the Promoter and their respective affiliates a worldwide, non-exclusive, sub-licensable, and royalty-free license to use any intellectual property rights (including name, photograph, image, voice, and likeness as captured during the Competition) related to: (a) the information winners provide to the Organizer and/or Promoter and (b) any photographs, videos, or other media content featuring winners with respect to the Competition.  Each of the Organizer and/or Promoter may use such intellectual property rights in any medium, for marketing, promotional, or other commercial purposes, including advertising campaigns, social media content, and website materials.  Winners may object to this, in writing, on cultural grounds, as may be determined by the Organizer and/or Promoter each, respectively, in its discretion.  Winners hereby assign, to the Organizer and/or Promoter, all present and future rights in this respect to the extent they vest in the winners as a matter of law.

j)         Winners may, following the Competition, revoke consent to use their  photographs or images for future marketing purposes.  Such revocation shall only apply for future marketing purposes and does not revoke consent to the use of prior materials that may continue to be used in previously distributed content.

k)       As between you and the Organizer, these T&Cs are subject to, and must be read in conjunction with Organizer’s terms and conditions which can be found on The Big Ticket LLC’s website.

b)       If for any reason this Competition is not capable of running as planned because of a computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter and/or the Organizer which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Competition, each of the Promoter and/or Organizer reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition. Each of the Promoter and/or the Organizer reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter and/or the Organizer decides in its reasonable belief has breached any of these T&Cs, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardize the fair and proper conduct of the Competition. Each of the Promoter and the Organizer’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation in this respect are reserved.

c)       Neither the Promoter nor the Organizer is responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in this Competition.

b)       You represent and warrant that you have the right to provide any of the information requested by us, including in respect of Personal Data, and that you hereby give us the right to collect, use and share relevant information about you, and your relationships with us.

c)       The Personal Data collected can be used as per the Promoter or / and individual radio station and/or the Organizer’s will or any of its entities for future station’s marketing or promotional purposes and materials – online or/and offline basis organizer’s discretion.

d)       You may opt out of receiving marketing communications anytime after the Competition.

e)       The Promoter reserves the right to request additional information at any time as we deem reasonably necessary to ensure that you are not using this Site or participating in a Competition in violation of these T&Cs or any applicable law.
